Since patient documents contain confidential diagnosis details, security measurements are mandatory regarding transcription service providers. In accordance with our core objective to keep your data secure, we have incorporated a multi-stage cascading security system to ensure that your files are not tampered with in any manner.

Encryption

All your voice and data files that are transferred to us via Internet is always encrypted. All voice and document files are encrypted before delivery into virtually indecipherable code. Only you (and we) know the password, so your work is secure and, most importantly, our Dictation and Medical transcription service is HIPAA compliant.

Firewalls

All portions of our network, including both hardware and software are protected with some of most secure firewall technology available today. Our CheckPoint firewall gives primary level of protection. When needed, we establish VPN links using CheckPoint VPN Concentrator to your facility's network.

We have gone to great lengths to guarantee the security and confidentiality of all patient's and client's information throughout the entire Medical Transcription process. Our Medical transcriptionists, editors, and management staff are bound by a confidential non-disclosure agreement.

Virus Protection

The most updated versions of multiple virus protection programs are run throughout our network and we ensure that virus scans are performed at several junctures throughout the network including servers at our facilities, servers placed at your facility and on each individual medical transcriptionist work station.
